The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Townsville University Hospital provides critical care services for patients requiring complex and intensive treatment. As part of the Clinical Information Administration Service, this role supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment.

Market-competitive salary and benefits
* Salary between $38.81 - $43.16 per hour (AO3).
* 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading.
* Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.

About your opportunity
As an Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative support to the ICU and Clinical Information Administration Service. This includes managing patient information systems, coordinating appointments, and ensuring efficient communication across clinical teams. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability in a dynamic hospital environment.
Requirements
* Experience in administrative support within a healthcare or similar environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and hospital information systems.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
* Compliance with Queensland Health vaccination requirements for VPD risk roles.
* A probationary period may apply.
