Opportunity
We're looking for a passionate and driven Sustainability Advisor for a fixed term parental leave backfill role (approximately 19 months), working with a Sustainability Specialist, joining our Safety, Risk & Environment Team.
This is your opportunity to support the delivery and evolution of DBCT P/L's sustainability framework through data‐driven monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
You'll play a key role in coordinating internal and external sustainability reporting, providing trusted advice across the business, and ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and contemporary standards.
What You'll Be Doing
* Coordinate, analyse, and report sustainability data to support the delivery of the sustainability framework and legislative obligations
* Maintain data integrity through validation, system checks, and continuous improvement of reporting processes
* Support the implementation of sustainability strategies, policies, and standards
* Facilitate accurate, timely internal and external sustainability reporting aligned to current frameworks and requirements
* Provide clear, practical sustainability advice to stakeholders across the business
* Coordinate and contribute to sustainability improvement initiatives
* Build capability and awareness by coaching teams and embedding consistent sustainability practices
What You'll Bring
* Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental science/management, data science, or a related field (desirable)
* Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, reporting frameworks, and legislative requirements (highly regarded)
* Proven ability to analyse data, generate insights, and deliver quality reports
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset with strong organisational and problem‐solving capability
* Ability to work collaboratively in a small, multi‐disciplinary team environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence working with data and reporting systems
