About the Role The position of Psychosocial Support Coordinator (PSC) within the HOPE team is an exciting opportunity to support someone following a suicidal crisis. Working under the direction of the clinical lead, the PSC will work alongside clinicians from a variety of disciplines and collaborate with our participants to deliver person-centred, trauma-informed support.
Key Responsibilities Support HOPE participants with recovery goals and safety plans

Assist with appointments, referrals, and community linkages
* .
Provide brief interventions and support to families and carers
* .
Collaborate with the team, maintain accurate records, and attend meetings
* .
Participate in professional development and follow policies and procedures
* .
Skills & Experience Diploma in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Services, Mental Health, Youth Work, or similar; OR currently studying in nursing, social sciences, or allied health (e.g., OT, Psychology, Social Work)
* .
Experience in supporting individuals with psychological distress, mental ill health, or suicidal ideation
* .
Current Working with Children Check and Victorian Driver's License
* .
Knowledge of local community services relevant to mental health and wellbeing
* .
