Description
As a Payroll Officer for Australia, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services for Australia and New Zealand based customers.
You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing, maintaining compliance with legislation, and delivering a high-quality service experience to both internal and external stakeholders.

Managing your own client portfolio and processing end-to-end payrolls
Importing payroll data into payroll software and maintaining accurate payroll records
Acting as the primary contact for your clients, managing queries and delivering fantastic customer support
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and procedures to enhance service delivery and team efficiency
Maintaining up-to-date client payroll manuals and ensuring all manual checks and calculations are accurate
Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, including Fair Work, PAYG, Superannuation, and STP
Communicating any risks to service delivery promptly and realistically to clients and internal stakeholders
Proactively contributing to solutions and mitigations when issues arise
Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal control standards
Does this sound like you?
Experience in Australian payroll processing, ideally in a client-facing or multi-client environment
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
Proficiency in payroll systems (Employment Hero) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure
A team-oriented team player who contributes to a positive and high-performing team culture
