Job Description:
* The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and optimize container orchestration platforms, ensuring seamless operation and high availability of applications.
* This position involves collaborating with engineering teams and operations teams to enhance infrastructure and support continuous integration and delivery workflows.
* Responsibilities also include managing user access and permissions within the OpenShift environment, implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, and working with development teams to optimize applications running on OpenShift.
* The ideal candidate will have experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining VMware and OpenShift clusters, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest OpenShift and Kubernetes features and best practices.
* Collaboration with security teams to implement best security practices for containerized applications is also a key aspect of this role.
* Additionally, creating and maintaining documentation related to OpenShift configurations and procedures is essential for the success of this position.
