About the role
Due to our extensive growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Driver to join our Warehouse Team, based in Prestons reporting to the Despatch Manager.
* Picking and Packing Orders for our customers all over Sydney
* Being the customer facing team and delivering goods to customers
* Ability to correctly read and understand customer orders to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly
* Be able to manage paper work and take payments from customers over Credit Card and Cash
* Understand the Sydney Route and adjust the route to make your run more efficient and effective
* Efficient and Safe driving methods and practices
* Make sure customer receive quality product - on time, in full and in temp
* Be familiar with Proof of Delivery (POD) Process
* Receiving and scanning
* Driving a Forklift is a must
* Communicate clearly and politely with drivers, customers and office staff at all times
* Have legible/reasonable hand writing to complete required order paperwork
* Physically capable of undertaking hands on and repetitive heavy lifting (up to 20kg)
* Keep your designated work area clean and tidy at all times;
* Undertake additional duties as and when required by the Despatch Manager or management.

Skills and experience
* A great attitude to, 'get the job done'
* 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
* Background in the food and meat industry
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Ability to work well within a busy team environment
* C Class License
* Clean Driving record - Require RMS Report
* Great understanding of Sydney Roads and Traffic peaks
* Great communicator with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong time management skills, high level of attention to detail and a great team player
* Forklift License is a Must
* RF scanning experience will be highly regarded
* Tech Savy
