Join a newly formed Vulnerability Management practice in a large-scale consumer banking environment.This is a hands-on coding role, where you'll be responsible for fixing vulnerabilities, automating security processes, and future-proofing application security.Location: Gold Coast – Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office (must be within 1.5 hours' travel).
Salary: Up to $150K for Engineer / $180K for Senior Engineer.Huge scope—securing 100+ applications with 18,000 vulnerabilities in the backlog.No security background required—we need strong developers with an interest in secure coding.Hands-on coding—fix vulnerabilities in Java, C#, Node.js, or React.Automation focus—build scalable security solutions.Collaborate with system teams—solve real security issues uncovered in reviews.What You'll Do:Fix security vulnerabilities and strengthen application security.Automate security processes for efficient vulnerability remediation.Work closely with development, operations, and customer support teams.Help establish secure coding best practices across the business.Minimum Requirements:2–5 years' experience in software engineering.Proficiency in Java, C#, Node.js, or React.Understanding of vulnerabilities, secure coding, and automation is a plus but not required.Experience with security tools like Snyk, Tenable, or Fortify (a plus).
