Finance Manager Job Overview
Join a progressive and growing firm as a Finance Manager, responsible for leading and managing financial reporting, management and communication of accounting and commercial activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive process improvements and efficiencies, working closely with the Senior Finance Manager and Group FC. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting the wider business with financial reporting, including results analysis, accounting policies and statutory financial statements.
* Driving process improvement to create efficiencies across the function.
* Managing month-end and year-end closing activities, including submission of Balance Sheet reconciliations.
* Managing and owning Balance Sheet, Cashflow, and Working Capital forecasting, planning, and analysis.
* Responsible for Overhead budgeting, reporting, and analysis, ensuring cost targets are met.
* Managing full compliance with income tax, GST, and statutory reporting obligations.
Key qualifications and skills include:
* Fully qualified Charted Accountant professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a Big 4 / Mid-tier environment as a first mover or second mover would be ideal.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business.
