Both globally and in Australia, Palfinger provides superior technical support, parts availability and after sales service.About The Role Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, promoting and actively selling Palfinger products across VIC/TAS. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.This is a hands‐on field sales role requiring regular travel, customer visits, and attendance at key industry events.Key Responsibilities Customer RelationshipsMaintain strong phone and face‐to‐face engagement with customersAttend industry exhibitions and promotional eventsProvide accurate and timely product adviceResolve customer issues, including payments, complaints and warranty mattersMonitor competitive activity and emerging market trendsBusiness DevelopmentBuild and grow relationships across targeted industry sectorsDevelop a call plan with clear strategies and objectivesMaintain quotation registers, forecasts and sales reportingDeliver agreed revenue, GP and market share targetsWhat You'll BringDemonstrated successful field sales experience in road transport and/or waste industryExisting relationships with truck dealersStrong self‐motivation and territory management skillsHigh‐level communication, negotiation and relationship‐building capabilityProficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Sales Force and GreentreeCurrent driver's licenceWho You Are You're a driven, relationship‐focused sales professional who thrives in the field. You're commercially savvy, customer‐centric, and confident in managing a sales territory with autonomy.
