Acumen Health is Australia's exclusive provider of Occupational Rehabilitation services to the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant, you will apply your clinical reasoning skills to support ADF personnel with physical and/or psychological injuries. Key Responsibilities
1. Take a holistic care approach, working within a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and healing.
2. Perform assessments based on your clinical expertise, such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders including injured employees, medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals.
4. Develop, implement, and monitor rehabilitation plans.
5. Focus on service delivery outcomes with KPIs, emphasizing person-centered care and goal setting rather than billable hours.
Work Environment & Benefits
Enjoy set working hours promoting work/life balance—no overtime or outside work hours. Work hours are from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm at Robertson Barracks, Holtze.
You will be supported and mentored through direct interaction and extensive onboarding, including shadowing, to enhance your technical knowledge and success.

Qualifications & Skills
* Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, or AASW).
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work.
* Australian Citizenship.
* Strong clinical reasoning skills.
* Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams towards common goals.
* Passion for helping people rehabilitate.
* Occupational rehabilitation experience is highly regarded.
