Overview
Heavy Vehicle Technician to join Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Blacktown.
Based at the Volvo Commercial Vehicles dealership in Blacktown, the role reports to the Workshop Manager within a team of 60 workshop staff including Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Apprentices, Parts Interpreters, Service Advisors and Costing Clerks.
The VCV Blacktown dealership is part of Volvo Group Australia and focuses on Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks and UD Trucks, offering sales, service and parts for Volvo Group vehicles.

Responsibilities
Carrying out servicing and maintenance on trucks and buses in line with Volvo Group standards
Steering and suspension repairs
Electrical fault diagnosis and repairs
Braking systems diagnosis and repairs
Component overhauls
Driveline repairs
Preventative maintenance services and repairs
Who are you?
A Heavy Vehicle mechanical qualification
Experience with Volvo, Mack, UD or other European truck or bus brands is highly regarded
Some exposure to light auto-electrical work
A pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficiently
A positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindset
