About the Role Our client is a well-established custom home builder with a strong reputation across Western and South-West Sydney for delivering high-quality, design-driven residential projects. With a growing pipeline of over 150 homes currently underway, they are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join their collaborative pre-construction team. The position works closely with sales, pre-construction, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure designs are buildable, compliant, and delivered within agreed timeframes. Senior Draftspersons will also mentor junior team members and conduct compliance and constructability checks on sales documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for producing detailed construction drawings and documentation for a diverse range of projects, including bespoke custom homes, knockdown rebuilds, dual occupancies, and house & land packages. You'll work closely with designers, estimators, and the construction team to ensure all plans are accurate, compliant, and ready for approvals and build commencement. Key Responsibilities: Prepare high-quality construction drawings and documentation using ArchiCAD Amend plans and specifications in line with client selections, design changes, and regulatory requirements Liaise with the design and pre-construction teams to ensure documentation aligns with build and compliance standards Manage plan revisions and updates efficiently to support smooth project progression Ensure all drawings adhere to company design standards, council, and NCC regulations About You: 4 years' experience as a Draftsperson within the residential construction industry Proficient in ArchiCAD is favorable Strong understanding of residential construction methods, BASIX, and NSW planning regulations High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Excellent communication and teamwork skills What's on Offer: Western Sydney location 3pm finishes on a Friday!
