Our purpose - to provide care, commemoration, and camaraderie - remains strong after more than a century.Supported by Australia's most successful prize home lottery, we provide life-changing support services, fund world-first research, and utilize state-of-the-art technology to assist more veterans effectively.About the Role:This office-based position involves providing high-quality customer service as part of RSL Queensland's League Services team, working Monday to Friday.Key Responsibilities:Welcome visitors on-site and manage visits professionally to ensure excellent stakeholder serviceRespond to inbound calls and queries with professionalism and empathy, directing to appropriate services or contactsCarry out general office administrative duties and coordinate incoming deliveriesOrganize meetings, prepare invitations and agendas, print documents, arrange catering, accommodations, and travel, and follow up as neededAssist in preparing monthly and quarterly reportsMaintain directories, collect data, prepare reimbursement claims, update policies and procedures, and handle general correspondenceParticipate in district activities and events as requiredQualifications and skills required include exceptional customer service, strong written and verbal communication, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills, practical thinking, and a self-starter attitude.
Physical ability to bend, reach above shoulders, and carry loads of 5-7 kg is necessary, along with a current Australian driver's license.
