Procurement Leadership Role
The Director, Procurement Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of the procurement function within a large healthcare organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimise value and meet organisational objectives
* Lead sourcing and contract management across the organisation, ensuring best practice product sourcing, warehousing, supply chain logistics and distribution
* Manage the organisation's supply chain, implementing processes that ensure efficient delivery of goods and services
* Contribute to ensuring the organisation achieves optimal procurement value and delivers on its procurement strategies, priorities and objectives
Key Requirements:
* Senior executive level experience and tertiary qualifications in a related field
* Understanding of government policies and practices in key accountability areas, including procurement, business reform and corporate services
* Sound knowledge of industry processes and practices associated with supply chain management, service agreements, contract management, contract law, probity and dispute resolution
