About the Role As a GTE Admissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in assessing and verifying student applications to ensure they meet the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) criteria for studying in Australia. This includes evaluating academic qualifications, financial documents, and statements of purpose, as well as providing support and advice to students and stakeholders. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne, Victoria. Key Responsibilities: Assess Genuine Student Requirement (GSR) applications to ensure compliance with Acknowledge Education policies. Verify the legitimacy and validity of IELTS/PTE scores provided by applicants. Utilise CEP to evaluate students' academic qualifications and educational background. Assess and verify financial documents to ensure applicants have sufficient funds for tuition, living expenses, and other costs. Evaluate Genuine Student Requirement statements of purpose to determine applicants' genuine intent to study in Australia. Provide accurate and timely advice to students, stakeholders, and support College initiatives. Respond to enquiries in person, by phone, and email, providing timely and accurate information. Maintain effective communication strategies across the campus and with other college functions. About You Strong attention to detail and ability to assess documents accurately. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks. A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and development. Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain effective communication. Prior experience is preferred but not necessary – we provide comprehensive training.
