Send your responses to ****** Overview The Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is a new department that has been established to deliver on the Governments climate change and energy agenda and protect Australias environment and water resources. The department has multiple requirements for ICT Project Managers to deliver inflight and upcoming projects. An opportunity exists for ICT Project Managers with procurement expertise to assist in multiple large procurement activities. This role is based in Canberra, with opportunities to work remotely. The successful candidate/s responsibilities include, but not limited to: Manage the delivery of departmental project(s) following the departments project management methodologies (such as Prince2, Agile, SAFe, hybrid) Provide guidance and leadership to a multi-disciplinary project team, 3rd party vendors, and/or other departmental teams to deliver projects Undertake project governance, including, but not limited to: project initiation, transition to BAU and closure scope, schedule, and delivery timeframe management reporting and presenting to Senior Executives, Program/Project Boards, and other governance bodies budget and financial management and reporting, and active management of risks and issues. Provide delivery capability across the broader programs of work as directed by the department and/or the Project Management Office. Successful management and delivery of large corporate projects with an emphasis on the procurement and management of large tenders. 50 % 2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present and communicate information and expectations to stakeholders at all levels. 30 % 3. Personal resilience and flexibility to deal with ambiguity and conflicting priorities to successfully deliver under pressure within a challenging environment. 20 % Desirable Criteria 1. Experience working within federal government. 2. Understanding of the Australian Governments procurement process and policy.
