Role Description
This is a casual, on-site role located in the Greater Adelaide Area for an Optical Assistant. As an Optical Assistant, your daily tasks will include assisting customers in selecting suitable eyewear, providing personalized product recommendations, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include supporting optometrists in eye exams, maintaining an organized workspace, and delivering outstanding service to enhance the customer experience in alignment with Specsavers' values.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
Effective communication skills essential for engaging with customers and team collaboration
Knowledge or experience in optometry and delivering high-quality customer service
Ability to work well within a busy environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Previous retail or optical experience is an advantage but not essential—training will be provided
