Carer Support Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Carer Support Program as a Carer Support Coordinator.

As a Carer Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating activities to enable carers to access support, services, and information. You will work closely with Peer Mentors to facilitate capacity building and social inclusion activities, providing opportunities for people in care relationships to share meaningful experiences together.
Key aspects of this role include:
1. Upholding and promoting human dignity, social justice, and equity.
2. Coordinating activities to enhance carers' quality of life and well-being.
3. Developing and implementing strategies to improve carers' access to support services and networks.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
* A Diploma qualification in community services, disability, or related disciplines.
* Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly carers and their families.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build effective relationships with stakeholders.
