About The Role
The Student Midwife’s role will be to implement, evaluate, and maintain a high standard of midwifery care in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes, at the same time:
- Recognising the needs and acknowledging the dignity, culture and values of all patients and their families/significant other.
- Empowering all patients and their families within a service that embraces both continuity of philosophy and consistency of advice and information
Requirements
- Recency in acute medical/surgical practice.
- A graduate year and at least one year post the grad year.
- Ability to work am, pm, and night duty shifts.
- Enrolled into the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery with Deakin University.
