Physiotherapist (Grade 2) Community Rehabilitation

The Community Rehabilitation Program at Alfred Health, based at Caulfield Hospital, offers comprehensive, client-centered rehabilitation services through Home Based, Centre Based, and Falls Clinic services. The multidisciplinary team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and other health professionals, working collaboratively to support clients' recovery following illness or injury.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will provide client-centered rehabilitation services both in clients' homes and at the rehabilitation center. The role offers a diverse clinical caseload, ideal for developing expertise across various diagnoses and conditions. Professional development opportunities are available.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in Physiotherapy
* Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
* Eligible for membership of the APA
* Valid Victorian Driver's Licence
Key Capabilities
* Minimum three years' clinical experience in Physiotherapy
* Recent experience in rehabilitation or aged care
* Effective team collaboration skills
* Commitment to continuous quality improvement
* Ability to evaluate and adapt services based on evidence-based practice
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge in orthopaedics, neurology, and gerontology
