About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst (IT Support / Level 1 Helpdesk) to join our IT team at our Head Office in Benowa on the Gold Coast.

As the first point of contact for IT support within the business, you will provide Level 1 technical support and helpdesk services to Homecorp employees. You will assist with troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues, supporting Microsoft systems, and ensuring employees receive efficient and reliable IT assistance.

Key responsibilities include

* Provide Level 1 IT support and helpdesk assistance to end-users across software applications, systems and hardware.
* Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, hardware, software and network issues.
* Assist with setup and maintenance of users in Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and other systems.
* Install, configure and maintain desktop computers, laptops, workstations and IT equipment.
* Provide technical guidance and training to employees on systems and applications.
* Maintain accurate records of IT incidents, service requests and documentation.
* Assist with system testing, maintenance and updates to ensure reliable operation.
* Support the evaluation and implementation of new hardware, software and network solutions.
* Assist with documentation and user instructions for IT systems.
* Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

To succeed in this role you will demonstrate:

* 1-3 years experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk or Desktop Support role.
* Relevant IT qualifications.
* Experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and desktop hardware.
* Strong customer service, communication and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to explain technical information clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
* Good understanding of computer hardware, networking and system administration concepts.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues.
* A proactive attitude with a strong interest in learning and developing technical skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Desirable

* Currently studying or completed a degree in Information Technology or related field.
* Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Associate, or VMware Certified Professional.
* Experience supporting Microsoft Server environments, VMware ESXi or Microsoft 365.
* Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
* Experience with construction industry software such as Databuild, Bluebeam, EstateMaster or Autodesk/Revit.
