The Opportunity
The Speech Pathology unit at Monash University is looking for an enthusiastic educator and researcher to join our team in a Level B academic position. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping the next generation of speech pathologists through engaging and high-quality teaching while contributing to impactful research and professional activities in the field.
Your work will focus on paediatric communication disorders, helping to develop and deliver speech pathology courses that reflect the latest industry trends and best practices. Beyond teaching, you’ll have opportunities to advance knowledge through research, collaborate with colleagues both within Monash and beyond, and publish your findings in peer-reviewed journals. You’ll also support Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students, guiding them through their research journey and helping them make meaningful contributions to academia and professional practice.
We’re looking for a passionate educator with a background in speech pathology to join our team. Whether you hold a doctoral or master’s degree (or equivalent experience), we value your expertise in teaching and shaping future professionals. If you’ve been involved in curriculum development, research, or teamwork within the field, and if you enjoy working with students and colleagues in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
