The Position
As a senior member of the Paediatric team, you will offer clinical expertise within the Department of Paediatrics at the facility.
- Your responsibilities will encompass the supervision and management of children across various settings, including the Emergency Department, inpatient care, neonatal nursery, outpatients, and community consultations. Oversight of the Child Development Unit and adherence to mandated child protection responsibilities are integral aspects of your role.In addition to these duties, you will provide supervision for the clinical practice of General Practice Paediatricians and junior medical staff.

The Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians – Paediatric Medicine or an equivalent specialist qualification suitable for supervising trainees of that College.
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary paediatric practice and procedures.
- Demonstrated skills in the investigation and care of paediatric patients
