Right now were seeking an IT Service Manager who will play their part in this shared purpose. Someone with the right skills and expertise as well as attitude and openness to new ideas that help advance positive outcomes for the organisation their colleagues and themselves.

If successful for this role youll be employed by WorkSafe Victoria.

About the role

The Service Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of Information Technology services to ensure agreed service level targets are met. The role is responsible for improving the visibility performance and reliability of services by driving process owners technology owners project managers and operations teams across ITSS and suppliers to deliver high quality IT services.

The key accountabilities for this role include the following

- Provide assistance and leadership associated with the planning design documentation and improvement of service availability including the investigation of all breaches of availability targets and service non-availability.
- Take responsibility for ensuring industry best practice has been applied to the design procurement installation upgrading operation control maintenance and effective use of IT services and monitors their performance. Ensures that agreed service levels are met and all relevant procedures are adhered to.
- Liaise with technical design and project managers to ensure correct products are produced in a timely fashion. Evaluates the quality of project outputs against agreed acceptance criteria.

What were looking for

- Significant experience in the incident management space particularly major incident management with a strong ITIL background.
- Significant experience in a similar role managing the end-to-end delivery of a portfolio of IT services in a multi sourced environment.
- Substantial IT systems management and industry experience
- Highly developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills with strong customer and stakeholder focus.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Experience in enterprise service design management and transition
