Retail Assistant Position Overview
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Retail Assistant to join our team in a new store opening in January. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving product sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver exceptional customer service and drive product sales
* Provide expert product advice to customers and professionals
* Respond to telephone inquiries and assist with customer needs
* Manage debt collection and operate Point of Sale systems
* Liaise with occupational therapists, medical professionals, clients, and families to deliver tailored solutions
* Generate invoices, maintain records, and coordinate deliveries
* Process orders and correspondence via the online portal
* Ensure the showroom is well-presented and organised
Requirements:
* Previous customer service experience, ideally in retail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of healthcare products or experience in the medical industry is an advantage
