Compliance & Safety Supervisor

We're looking for a Compliance & Safety Supervisor to join our Truganina, VIC team within Metcash Food & Grocery. In this leadership role, you'll ensure warehouse operations are conducted in line with all compliance, safety and regulatory requirements, while fostering a safe, engaged, and high‐performing team culture.

In this Role

* Ensure all WHS, Food Safety (HACCP), and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
* Maintain accurate and up‐to‐date compliance documentation and training records across all team members
* Lead and coordinate compliance training programs, identifying gaps and ensuring competency across all staff levels
* Conduct and manage site compliance audits including WHS, HACCP, facility, racking, CoR, and contractor management
* Ensure all risk assessments, SWPs/SOPs, and compliance documentation are reviewed and updated regularly
* Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
* Monitor and complete site safety lead indicators in line with monthly targets
* Chair monthly WHS meetings and lead quarterly HACCP/Food Safety meetings
* Ensure all new employees are inducted and trained in accordance with compliance requirements
* Drive a safety‐first culture and continuous improvement across warehouse operations

You're Likely a Match If

* Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG, warehouse, or logistics operations
* Strong knowledge of WHS/OH&S, HACCP, and regulatory compliance requirements
* Experience managing compliance audits, documentation, and reporting
* Proven ability in incident investigation and root cause analysis
* Demonstrated experience in training coordination and staff development
* Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* A strong commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
