Job Title
The Role of a Dispatch Officer is an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy the fast-paced environment of a mining operation. This position requires the individual to be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
As a Dispatch Officer, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring the mining fleet to capture information and ensure the availability of accurate real-time data for the operations team. You will work closely with the Production and Maintenance Departments to collect, validate, and report production statistics.
This role involves liaising with various stakeholders to ensure equipment allocation is optimized and prioritized to achieve planned objectives. You will also be responsible for monitoring the radio communication system, geological radar, operator awareness, and equipment high-precision systems.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience operating large mining equipment and using Fleet Management Software such as Dispatch 6, ProVision 3, or Terrain. You should possess high computer literacy skills, strong leadership and communication skills, and a developed understanding of risk management and safe work procedures.
