Role Overview

The FP&A Specialist is responsible for sales planning and gross margin calculation at the location level. This role will work closely with the Director of FP&A to optimize financial processes, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide strategic financial insights and detailed analysis.

Responsibilities:
">
* Contribute to the strategic direction of the FP&A function in the APAC region to optimize performance.
">
* Collaborate with the Planning & Allocations team to effectively manage location sales planning for APAC, including product performance, calendar influences, and key driver impacts.
">
* Contribute to the banner planning process to ensure sales build for store and ecomm, considering market dynamics, store capital programs, and investment in digital solutions.
">
* Proactively identify and implement process improvements and efficiency, contributing to Global technology initiatives.
">
">
Accounting Responsibilities:
">
* Contribute to the month-end process, ensuring accurate and compliant month-end and year-end cut-offs.
">
* Support audit requirements, including SOX compliance and quarterly and year-end representation letters.
">
">
Analysis, Forecasting & Reporting Responsibilities:
">
* Prepare and review weekly and monthly management reports.
">
* Perform data collection and ad-hoc analysis for various departments.
">
* Create and maintain MarketMax for store sales forecasting and planning.
">
* Maintain a calendar of events and region-specific holidays.
">
* Utilize data analytics tools to analyze sales performance across locations, identifying trends, outliers, and correlations with product categories.
">
* Collaborate with product planning teams to provide data-driven insights into product mix and inventory levels impacting location-specific sales performance.
">
* Leverage predictive analytics to forecast sales by location, considering historical sales data, economic trends, and local market conditions.
">
* Create/Maintain financial reporting Dashboards to support effective review and decision-making.
">
">
Qualifications:
">
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
">
* 2-3 years related work experience (ideally in retail).
">
* Partnership/collaboration skills, creative and critical thinking skills, capacity to work autonomously and within a team environment.
">
* Clear and effective communications skills (written and verbal), team player with a service-oriented attitude.
">
* Flexible and open to new ideas, fluent in English (verbal & written), relevant proficiency in computer software - Excel: Intermediate, Power BI: Intermediate.
">
* Experience with MarketMax or equivalent financial planning tool is a plus.
">
