The Opportunity

You will manage a diverse personal injury practice, with a focus on complex and sensitive matters, including:
* Mesothelioma
* Silica-related claims
* Coal mine dust disease
The work spans multiple jurisdictions and involves direct client engagement, often in highly sensitive circumstances.

How will this role develop your career?
You will operate with a high level of autonomy, running your own matters while working closely with a leading practitioner in their field within the toxic exposure, dust diseases and specialist personal injury space.
This role will see you:
* Lead files end-to-end with full carriage
* Develop litigation strategy on complex, high-value claims
* Build strong, long-term client relationships
* Mentor and support junior lawyers
* Contribute to the growth of the practice
What type of person will be successful?
* 5+ PAE with experience in dust disease litigation, or broader workers' compensation / public liability
* Strong litigation fundamentals and a passion for advocacy
* Confidence running files independently
* Commercial and strategic mindset
* Proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused
* Strong understanding of legislation across multiple Australian jurisdictions
