Job Role: Food and Beverage Manager
Overview:
This is a senior leadership role that oversees all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, breakfast services, catering, and mini-bars. The successful candidate will lead a small team, collaborating closely with the kitchen and sales teams to drive revenue growth across outlets.
* Manage inventory, analyze financials, lead roster planning, and build a high-performance team culture.
* Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety procedures, hygienic food handling, and responsible service of alcohol practices.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef to optimize menus and wine lists for profitability and customer appeal.
* Respond to guest feedback and implement service improvements to enhance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive Revenue Growth Across Outlets
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue across food and beverage outlets, working closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities.
• Manage Inventory and Analyze Financials
• Oversee the management of inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste. Analyze financial data to inform business decisions and identify areas for cost savings.
• Lead Roster Planning and Build a High-Performance Team Culture
• Develop and implement effective rostering strategies to ensure adequate staffing levels, while also building a positive and inclusive team culture that supports employee well-being and engagement.
• Ensure Adherence to Workplace Health and Safety Procedures
• Implement and maintain high standards of workplace health and safety, including compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. This includes maintaining accurate records and conducting regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Work Closely with the Executive Chef
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menu and wine list optimization strategies, ensuring profitability and customer appeal.
• Respond to Guest Feedback and Implement Service Improvements
• Act on guest feedback to continuously improve the food and beverage experience, working closely with the operations and hospitality teams to implement changes and enhancements.
