Compassionate Support Worker
Support workers play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for elderly or disabled clients. As a compassionate support worker, you will provide personalised support with daily activities, ensuring physical comfort and emotional well-being in a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while respecting their dignity and privacy.
* Mobility Support: Help clients move around safely using appropriate equipment such as walkers.
* Household Support: Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a hygienic living space.
* Companionship: Engage clients in social activities and meaningful conversations to prevent isolation.
* Emotional Support: Provide empathetic care to alleviate anxiety and promote mental well-being.
Requirements:
* First aid and CPR certification is required.
* A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is preferred.
