The Office Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient operational management of key administrative functions. This role ensures the development and maintenance of systems and processes aligned with ODPP project and legal requirements. Reporting to the Director, Business Services, the Office Manager leads a team of six administrative managers and a specialist role each overseeing distinct service areas, providing strategic oversight and direction to ensure high‐quality administrative support is delivered to all staff across the Office.
About the BusinessThe ODPP is an office of approximately 200 staff, consisting of both legal and administrative functions. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions was established under the Director of Public Prosecutions Act 1991 to provide an effective, fair and independent criminal prosecution service for the people of South Australia. The Office is committed to the highest ethical and professional standards.
Special Conditions for EmploymentEmployment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Employment‐related screening checks are required. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances, and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
