This highly visible, hands-on role is critical to driving customer satisfaction and ensuring successful subscription renewals across a growing customer base. You will work closely with Sales Account Owners, Sales Engineers, Channel team, and Customer Success to manage the full renewal lifecycle. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, results-driven, and able to engage with both senior-level business leaders and technical stakeholders across small to large-scale enterprises. This role will be based in Sydney, Australia. Your day-to-day Own and manage the full renewal process for your assigned territory Drive the qualification, quoting, and workflows alongside Account Managers and Regional Directors to close renewals efficiently Accurately forecast renewal revenue on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis using Salesforce, Clari and other tools Meet or exceed customer renewal revenue quotas and churn targets Coordinate internal resources to support renewal execution and customer satisfaction Build and maintain strong relationships at both executive and operational levels Proactively identify risk and resolve customer issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams Maintain a sharp focus on customer retention and actively work to reduce attrition Research and understand customer organisational structures and maintain account intelligence in Salesforce Track implementation, support activities, and customer engagement metrics Stay informed about Proofpoint's market position and competitive landscape Create customer quotes, maintain accurate data, and ensure accuracy via Salesforce and other CRM and finance tools What you bring to the team Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate Proofpoint's value proposition Highly organised, detail-oriented, and process-driven Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive independently and as part of a regional and global team Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations Proven ability to coordinate internal resources to support complex sales and renewal strategies, pricing and process Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web conferencing platforms Working knowledge of Salesforce, Clari and other online sales tools 3 years of successful experience in account management, business development, or SaaS renewals Experience working with Cybersecurity teams, Channel Partners, Legal, and Procurement departments Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience preferred \LI-ML1 Why Proofpoint?
