Craftsman Opportunity
This role requires a skilled craftsman with a Certificate III in Carpentry and at least 3 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will have expertise in formwork construction, sub-flooring and floorboard installation, door and window frame fabrication, staircasing assembly, deck construction, and repair and refurbishment.
* Construct and erect complex formwork structures
* Lay sub-flooring and install high-quality floorboards
* Fabricate door and window frames with precision
* Assemble staircases and decks with attention to detail
* Repair and refurbish floors and decks with care and precision
About You
We are seeking an individual who:
* Can independently assess job sites for suitability
* Produces high-quality work and finishes with attention to detail
* Has the ability to work independently on tasks and projects
* Able to apply safety practices and protocols in the workplace
* Possesses skills in precision cutting, assembling, nailing, joining, forming, floor sanding, and coating
* Understands the construction industry and Australian building codes
* Is physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks such as gripping, crawling, climbing, kneeling, squatting, bending, and reaching overhead
* Able to lift objects weighing up to 40kgs regularly and move heavier items safely
* Has good eyesight and is able to climb ladders safely
* Proficient with hand and power tools and capable of using brazing and soldering equipment when needed
* Self-motivated, organized, reliable, and able to work autonomously
