Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) and Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) is seeking an Accreditation Officer - Decisions. AGPAL is the leading provider of accreditation and related quality improvement services to General Practices in Australia. AGPAL's subsidiary organisation Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) delivers comprehensive accreditation and support services across the health and human service continuum.
This is a mid-level healthcare administration role focused on reviewing assessment reports submitted by surveyors/assessors and ensuring accreditation outcomes align with accreditation standards and frameworks.
What you will do
Review and verify assessment findings and reports submitted by surveyors and assessors
Apply accreditation frameworks and make sound, consistent decisions
Escalate complex or higher-risk cases as required
Maintain accurate records and contribute to internal reporting
Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders regarding accreditation outcomes
Support ongoing quality improvement within the accreditation process
What we are looking for
Experience in healthcare administration, quality, compliance or similar environments
Great attention to detail and confidence working with structured frameworks
Clear written communication skills
Comfortable using MS Office and CRM systems
Accreditation or quality-related training is well regarded (but not essential)
