Kogan People Solutions is working to find an accredited CPV Valuer for our client, a highly respected, independent valuation and property consultancy firm. With a collective company history stretching over 75 years, they specialise in offering independent and impartial property advice to banking, private, corporate, and government clients across Australasia.
Our client's expertise covers development valuations for residential, commercial, and industrial developments, alongside specialised national divisions in rural lifestyle, agribusiness, and going-concern valuations.
Due to ongoing success and growth in the regional Queensland market, a new opportunity has been created for an accredited valuer to join their established team based in Robina, QLD.
* Salary – negotiable in the range $80k to $90k plus superannuation per annum
* Tenure – full time - ongoing
What this job involves
Working on behalf of our client, you will primarily provide residential, commercial, retail, and industrial valuation and advisory reports across the Gold Coast and broader Queensland regions. Your day-to-day tasks will include, but are not limited to:
* Booking and attending property inspections.
* Collecting, verifying, and analysing market evidence (such as leasing and sales evidence) for specific client work.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key local and national stakeholders.
* Liaising with clients, resolving issues, and providing information as requested.
* Calculating values of commercial, retail, industrial, and residential assets following appropriate valuation methodologies.
* Drafting comprehensive valuation reports from end-to-end.
* Collaborating with interstate and regional office teams as required.
* Providing evidence in legal proceedings, if necessary.
* Maintaining all required professional memberships, registrations, and mandatory CPD points.
To be considered we expect to see
* A Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Property Economics, Valuation, or Business) or agreed equivalent.
* A minimum of one year (preferably more) of experience in a similar property valuer role.
* Current Certified Property Valuer (CPV) qualification/accreditation.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
