Our Service:
headspace Centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.

Role overview:
* Acts as the central point of communication and provides a superior level of secretarial and reception services to young people, clinical and management headspace staff.
* Medical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staff
* Appointment scheduling and maintenance of clients
* General Office duties including opening and distribution of mail typing, scanning, filing and archiving
* Assist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day.
* Typing of Medical letters to members of the clinical team
Requirements:
* Ideally a Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification
* Excellent administration, time management and organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of the health /NFP sector with an ability to liaise with people from diverse backgrounds
* Proven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skills
* Well-developed customer service skills
* Ability to think and act calmly and deal sensitively with distressed people.
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills
* Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentiality
* Must have good availability
* Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
* Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
* A current unencumbered driver's license
