This role will involve working in community and clinic spaces providing supports to NDIS participants.
Job Description
As an experienced Occupational Therapist, you will bring expertise, maturity and strong time management skills to provide high-quality services.
Successful candidates will cover areas such as Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Central Coast and surrounding regions.
Structured supervision, mentoring and professional development opportunities are provided to invest in your growth and success.
No two days are the same, working in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, communities, homes and/or clinics.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload, delivering timely services, assessing and interpreting findings, providing evidence-based interventions and mentoring clinicians.
* Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
* Assess participants' developmental function and capacity
* Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
* Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
* Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
* Maintain awareness of current legislation

Requirements
Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, excellent time management and organisational skills, pro-active attitude and interest in developing skills, experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists, genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
