Position Title: District Manager - Majors
Reporting Line: Sales Manager
Position Purpose:
Expand the product reach and profit revenues for ADP's products and services within the Majors market, while achieving individual sales targets and KPIs set by the Sales Manager. Build brand awareness for ADP's offerings through contacts at various levels, from Department Heads to 'C' level executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of ADP's products and services.
- Identify prospective clients and sales opportunities within the Majors market segment (200 to 1,999 employees) and successfully promote outsourcing.
- Research, qualify, and scope new business and revenue opportunities aligned with ADP's strategic plan.
- Leverage industry networking events to identify additional sales opportunities and promote ADP's offerings.
- Be a self-motivated performer who consistently exceeds sales results and KPIs.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and Miller Heiman Account Plans for assigned accounts.
- Manage all client interactions and sales-related information within CRM tools like Salesforce.com.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities and capabilities.
- Effectively describe ADP's products and services, highlighting their benefits to prospective clients.
- Participate in internal strategy meetings to ensure a unified approach to business development.
- Respond to tenders, RFIs, and RFPs efficiently.
- Summarize prospects' needs, demonstrate ADP's ability to meet those needs, and propose suitable solutions.
- Network within the industry to generate additional business opportunities.
- Utilize relationships with ADP's Executive Team effectively.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' B2B sales experience
- Experience in solution sales roles
- Proven success in identifying, hunting, and closing new business
- Ability to explain complex systems to non-technical clients
- Experience in developing proposals and quotes
- Networking experience at industry events
- Experience with sales forecasting
- Proficiency in creating and delivering sales proposals and presentations
- Knowledge of sales channels and pipeline development
- Experience responding to tenders, RFPs, and EOIs
Certifications / Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business, Management, or Marketing
Professional training or certification in strategic selling and presentation skills
