About the role
Bunge is seeking a motivated individual with excellent communication skills to work closely with our central region sites to ensure inventory is available to execute via export and domestic outturns through road, rail and shipping.
Based in the regional office in Balaklava, this varied role requires a high level of attention to detail and has a strong focus on grain quality and inventory control to ensure efficient grain movements, planning, and coordination.
As the inventory operations planner, you will have a pivotal role in stock positioning, quality, and documentation for Bunge's central region receival and outturning programmes.
Duties
* Communicate with sites regarding grain movement plans and site operations
* Coordinate domestic out turns and stock allocations
* Maintain accurate inventory processes and ensure that the company inventory management systems are kept up to date and reflect physical position across all sites
* Maintain up to date quality data to ensure outturns meet specification
* Assisting with harvest planning, maximising storage facility utilisation
* Inventory planning and data analysis
* Ensure documentation is maintained and kept up to date
About you
* Previous experience in an inventory role
* Previous experience in the grain industry, desirable
* Intermediate to advanced computer and Microsoft Excel skills
* Ability to learn new internal systems quickly
* Strong communications skills with the ability to engage with internal and external customers
* Ability to identify process improvements and implement cost optimisation initiatives
* An analytical and innovative mindset to develop customer solutions
* Strong attention to detail
