Our Client
is a multi‐site healthcare business operating across Australia and New Zealand with a strong and growing network. As part of their strategic investment, they have created the role of General Manager – Digital Marketing to join them to elevate digital performance and build capability in‐house.
The Role
Reports to the CEO, and has full accountability for digital marketing performance across the business. You will lead the strategy and execution across all digital channels, with a clear focus on driving acquisition, improving conversion, and delivering measurable ROI.
This is a hands‐on leadership role, combining strategic direction with execution. A key priority will be building a best‐in‐class in‐house digital capability, reducing reliance on agencies while lifting overall performance across paid, owned, and earned channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Own end‐to‐end digital performance across Paid Search, SEO, Social, and website/CRO
* Drive customer acquisition, conversion, and ROI through data‐led optimisation
* Build and lead an in‐house digital team, transitioning away from agency reliance
* Oversee website performance, UX, and conversion to improve customer journeys
* Partner with marketing and operational teams to align digital activity with business priorities
We are looking for
* Proven experience operating at GM, Head of, or equivalent level in digital marketing within a multi‐site or branch network model
* Strong paid media and search expertise, managing large budgets and complex campaigns
* Track record of improving conversion, cost efficiency, and ROI across digital channelsExperience building or scaling in‐house digital capability and teams
* Hands‐on, pragmatic leader who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels
