They are seeking a talented Chef to bring their creativity and expertise to the employers bustling kitchen. Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute delectable, innovative dishes in line with the restaurant's culinary concept.
* Oversee the kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency meet high standards.
* Collaborate with the team to develop and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
* Manage inventory, ordering, and food costing to maintain profitability while minimizing waste.
* Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient working environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef in a reputable restaurant or culinary establishment.
* Proficiency in Sri Lankan cooking techniques and cuisines, with a focus on quality and creativity.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a culinary team.
* Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Qualifications and Experience: to excel in this role, you should possess;
* Minimum 1-years proven experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
* Minimum Certificate in International or Commercial Cookery
* Experience in creating exquisite and authentic Sri Lankan and Asian cuisines is mandatory.
