The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Tender Engineer to join our growing Global Services team. Reporting to our Global Pre-Sales Leader, you will be responsible for the preparation of quotations and tender submissions covering installation/testing, contracts, upgrades/re-engineering, retrofit solutions, and digital services.
You will also focus on electrical distribution services, including LV and MV solutions and other growing areas of our operations as our customer base continues to expand within a market full of opportunity.

Primary responsibilities will see you:
o Review customer RFQs, specifications, and tender specifications for Field Service activities
o Identify cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs and technical requirements
o Collaborate with local and international stakeholders on an ongoing basis
o Interact with customers when required, leveraging your technical knowledge to provide solutions
o Prepare tender documentation including technical compliance, risk assessments, and approval documentation
o Prepare costing sheets to show the cost and margin of offers, ensuring minimum margin levels are achieved, whilst respecting market price levels
o Prepare quotations within agreed timeframes that define the technical solution proposed, whilst mitigating technical and commercial risks
o Contribute to the business growth in accordance with company strategy and ambition
o Handover won projects to execution team
o Domestic travel when required
About You
o Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (Degree or Diploma)
o Previous experience in the supply, installation, and site testing of MV and LV distribution switchgear
o Previous experience in the submission of tenders and preparing quotations, operating to set processes with a level of rigor
o The ability to read and interpret switchgear technical specifications, commercial and contract conditions, and single line drawings
o Those with previous experience in Protection Relays or Electrical Arc Flash will be viewed favorably, as will those with a knowledge of Schneider products and offerings
