Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club has been awarded Africa’s leading hotel in 2022, 2023, and 2024 by the World Travel Awards.We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Brand & Trade Marketing Manager to develop, implement, and manage integrated marketing strategies aimed at building brand awareness, driving bookings, and enhancing the guest experience. This pivotal role involves overseeing both brand-building activities and trade marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with sales, operations, and revenue management teams to meet the resort's business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with proven success in executing marketing campaigns within the hospitality industry.Key Responsibilities include:Align marketing strategies with sales and revenue targets in collaboration with the DOSM.Develop and execute brand strategies and ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels.Oversee creation of compelling content with the digital team, including website copy, marketing collateral, social media, and advertising materials.Manage relationships with external agencies such as creative, digital, and PR agencies.Monitor brand performance and KPIs, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.Develop and implement trade marketing strategies to drive bookings through OTAs, travel agents, and corporate partners.Plan and execute promotional campaigns and partnerships to increase visibility and sales.Build and maintain relationships with trade partners, ensuring effective collaboration.Create sales and marketing materials for trade partners, including presentations and brochures.Participate in trade shows, workshops, and industry events to promote the resort.Analyze trade marketing activities and optimize performance based on insights.Coordinate with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales strategies.Assist the DOSM in allocating the marketing budget effectively.Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including online, offline, social media, email, and PR.Participate in regular meetings with the DOSM and marketing team to review progress.In the absence of the Digital Marketing Manager, manage online presence, SEO/SEM strategies, and reputation management.Provide marketing input on pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and brand alignment.Stay updated on marketing trends and recommend innovative approaches.Work with operations to ensure a guest experience that reflects the brand promise.Assist the DOSM with additional tasks as assigned.Collaborate to ensure the guest experience supports positive word-of-mouth and repeat business.
