As part of the Inspection Partners Temporary Equipment business, the role is seconded by Applus+ to Inspection Partners to deliver the role of T4 Inspector - Karratha in partnership with Woodside Energy Ltd (WEL), and other clients as required from time to time, the following provides, as a minimum, the roles and responsibilities for an Inspection Partners Temporary Equipment and QAQC Materials Inspector for Woodside and Assorted Clients:
* Conduct Temporary Equipment Mechanical inspection activities located in the Burrup in accordance with Industry standards and relevant client standards, guidelines and procedures as supported, where necessary, by Applus procedures and guidelines.
* Conduct QA and Materials release inspection activities in the Burrup in accordance with Industry standards and WEL standards, guidelines and procedures as supported, where necessary, by Applus procedures and guidelines.
* Liaising with TE Coordinators regarding the Materials Windows planned each day. The materials window will be set and managed daily to ensure the TE/QA Inspectors are not inundated with unplanned material inspection tasks / queries.
* Baseline of up to 4 hours per day allocated to materials when required. This allowance of hours is subject to change as per client requirements and will be instructed by the Inspection Partners TE Coordinator post liaising with relevant WEL focal points when different from the planned window.
* Baseline of up to 6 hours per day allocated to Temporary Equipment Inspections when required. This allowance of hours is subject to change as per client requirements and will be instructed by the Inspection Partners TE Coordinator post liaising with relevant WEL focal points when different from the planned window.
* Attend daily pre starts at KBSB with Woodside personnel as required. On occasion this requirement may change to other client facilities as required, IP TE Coordinators will share this information when required.
* Provide TE Inspection support to the Inspection Partners Business at different vendor and company premises from time to time as required by the Inspection Partners business.
* Work with the Temporary Equipment Coordinators to ensure enhanced service delivery efficiency.
* Attend WEL, Applus Inspection Partners, or assorted client offices in Perth for inspection liaison, co-ordination, and training or induction activities, as required.
* Comply with WEL "Golden Safety Rules" and other health, safety and environment (HSE) requirements when working on WEL facilities, vendor facilities and offices.
* Provide prompt reporting (as appropriate) to Applus, with respect to HSE and integrity related issues, as requested.
* Provide prompt reporting of any anomalies, including equipment calibration issues etc.
* Supervision of Woodside/Applus/IP equipment used in the delivery of TE inspections to ensure proper use and storage, as required.
* Ensure all role certification, Applus/WEL inductions & TE VOCs are completed as required, to undertake the inspection activities on WEL assets.
* Ensure all role certification, inductions & TE knowledge is held to undertake ADHOC inspection activities on other client facilities or vendor locations.
* Inspection Partners TE Coordinators will ensure that all required items are in place before working for non-Woodside related clients, such as: Applus+ VSS, Chevron, Santos or other companies as instructed by IP Coordinators as required.
* Provide advice to Inspection Partners Coordination & Management upon request as the relevant TE and QAQC Subject Matter Expert (SME).
* WEL assets used in the delivery of TE/Materials activities are maintained in line with WEL policies and procedures.
* Inspection partners and Applus assets used in the delivery of TE/Materials activities are maintained in line with the relevant company policies and procedures.
* Maintenance of personal documentation for the role is relevant and up to date (i.e. certification, inductions, insurances etc.).
* Provision to Applus of documentation (i.e. certification, inductions, ID, etc.) as requested.
* Provide mentoring and assist development of other Applus or Inspection Partners Inspectors in becoming competent Temporary Equipment Inspectors via the VOC process.
* From time to time, undertake other activities within your skillset, as agreed with your manager, IP EGM. For example: Reviewing standards relevant for inspection purposes, EEHA
* Annual Inspections for Hazardous Areas, QAQC services and Inspections, Integrity Inspections and/ or Risk Based Inspection.
* Exhibit willingness to undertake related training courses and/ or assessments, including but not limited to, relevant to reliability inspection certification.
* Development and maintenance of Technical Authority (TA) approved Temporary Equipment (TE) check list templates by providing feedback to Inspection Partners TE Coordinators.
* Ensure that all Temporary Equipment being sent to Client facilities is inspected against appropriate checklists. If items of concern are identified with relevant client TE checklists, raise a Technical Query (TQ) with the Inspection Partners TE Coordinators or Manager.
* Ensure that all Temporary Equipment complies with applicable Woodside standards item is being inspected too or has been appropriately risk assessed. When unsure, discuss with the TE Coordinator Lead, appropriate client focal point and IP Manager when required.
* Ensure that all Temporary Equipment complies with the applicable client standards when completing ADHOC TE or QA Inspections for other customers.
* Liaising with TE Coordinators to ensure sufficient provision of time has been allocated for the completion of administrative tasks i.e., IT issues, revising standards, time reporting, technical queries.
