A wonderful opportunity to join an incredible multidisciplinary organisation in Newcastle and be part of our inaugural Psychology team. Red Frog for Families values work‐life balance, team culture and learning. We specialise in integrating allied health services for children and young adults. Our mission is to empower people with disability to live a quality life.

Work Environment

Work out of our clinics at Broadmeadow with incredible therapy spaces. Our therapeutic environments have been created to ensure they are both fun and welcoming for our participants. We have multi‐purpose and traditional therapy spaces in all shapes and sizes, fully equipped to allow for flexibility and creativity when delivering therapy. Our fully equipped resources room is full of toys, board games and therapy equipment. We have large team spaces where you can collaborate with other amazing team members with lots of incidental learning opportunities, and individual work spaces that make you feel at home and able to work efficiently. We will spoil you with a brand‐new kitchen including a coffee machine, many microwaves and snacks! We have private parking with direct access to the clinic and are a two‐minute walk to the local Broadmeadow shopping complex for lunch.

Team Culture

Our large team focuses on well‐being and fun. We have regular social events and celebrations! Our Participant Support Team will assist you with a lot of your day‐to‐day administration, meaning you can focus on quality therapy.

Learning Opportunities

We have an extensive induction program to support you to quickly gain confidence. We will steadily increase the number of participants you see to ensure the workload is fair and achievable. You will have weekly supervision with an experienced board‐approved supervising Psychologist and an opportunity to attend weekly POD (Professional Opportunities for Development) meetings where complex case studies are presented and learning shared. We value learning and seek both internal and external supervision opportunities to ensure you connect and collaborate with exceptional mentors across the world. We provide a yearly professional development budget of $2000 for you to advance your learning, knowledge and career. At Red Frog for Families we have developed a career progression framework with clear achievable indicators for you to excel in your career.

What will the role look like?

We are primarily a clinic‐based service, with a mix of private, Medicare and NDIS participants. Our psychologists consult in schools, homes and the community. We see participants between the ages of 0‐30 years needing support with a variety of developmental challenges. As a Psychologist, you will be an integral part of the Red Frog for Families multidisciplinary team to provide excellent therapeutic care and services to individuals and their families.

We care deeply about creating a workplace where our team members feel valued, respected and empowered. We are committed to providing equal opportunity regardless of gender identity, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or life stage.
