Project Development Leader - Renewable Energy
Elevate your career by taking on a challenging role that combines technical expertise with business acumen. As a Project Development Leader, you will be responsible for leading environmental assessment projects and related approvals management in support of our clients' capital project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support clients in environmental approvals and impact assessments for renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, and industrial sector clients.
* Lead and manage an approvals and planning team to secure major project approvals for clients in the renewable, mining, infrastructure, and industrial space.
* Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants; identify emerging talent and help them reach their full potential.
* Partner with Account Directors to actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth.
* Drive innovation within the technical community to stay ahead of client needs and differentiate us in the market.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications.
* 15+ years of experience in environmental planning and approvals, impact assessment, working within legislative requirements.
* High degree of technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, due diligence, land use planning, post-approval management, and broad knowledge of best practices in renewables, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
* Authorisation to work in Australia.
