Job Opportunity: Rehabilitation Consultant
This role involves supporting ADF personnel who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical reasoning skills, be able to engage across multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate a passion for helping people rehabilitate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking a holistic care approach, work within a team to support the journey from rehab to healing
* Performing a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or activities of daily living assessments
* Collaborating with stakeholders including employees, medical specialists, treatment providers and allied health professionals
* Developing, implementing and monitoring rehabilitation plans
Requirements:
* Current unrestricted registration or membership with a relevant industry body
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
* Australian Citizenship
* Strong clinical reasoning and ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
* Passion for helping people rehabilitate
