**Media and Events Assistant**
- Develop a range of marketing materials, including brochures, posters, leaflets, flyers, and banners using Adobe suite programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and Premiere Pro.
- Design engaging and visually appealing social media posts to promote the College's General English, Marketing and Communication, and Project Management streams.
- Strategise and execute comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns across various social media platforms.
- Utilise diverse content marketing techniques, such as blog posts, infographics, and videos, to attract and engage overseas students.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance to refine and enhance future strategies.
- Collect and analyse data related to marketing projects and campaigns.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all marketing and event-related projects. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of project plans, budgets, and outcomes and prepare regular reports to track progress.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and contractors involved in marketing and event execution. Supervise the quality and timeliness of services provided, including venue arrangements, catering and audio-visual equipment.
- Organise and prepare essential event materials such as reservation tickets, nametags, seating cards, registration lists, and gift packages.
- Coordinate on-site arrangements for events by setting up and testing audio-visual equipment. Ensure optimal placement of cameras, microphones, and other equipment and manage the quality control of recordings and broadcasts.
- Collect, edit, and manipulate raw footage to create polished marketing materials. Develop integrated PowerPoint presentations and other visual content to support promotional activities and enhance the College's visibility.
- Stay informed about current and emerging marketing and event trends. Propose and implement innovative strategies to improve the College's marketing approaches and event planning processes, aiming to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Contribute to the review and maintenance of the College's policies and procedures.

- Applicants must have proficient English communication skills.
- Applicants must have excellent attention to detail, communication skills and high-level accuracy.
- Applicants currently studying or have studied a Diploma or Advanced Diploma level or higher qualification in Social Media/Marketing and Communication/Digital Media/Graphics Design are preferred.

Pay rates are in accordance with the _Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2020._
