Seasonal Research Assistant
This role involves participating in seasonal research activities, including planting, harvesting, weeding and data entry. You will work primarily eight hour days from Monday to Friday.
* You will participate in fieldwork with other staff members to gain experience working with multiple perennial grain crops.
* You must be at least 16 years of age and have an interest in agriculture, ecology and plants.
In this position you are required to follow safety procedures when conducting field and lab work.
Responsibilities + Expectations:
1. Help researchers conduct field and lab work which may sometimes involve repetitive tasks or sitting/standing for long periods of time as well as working in extreme heat.
2. Show willingness to adapt your schedule according to the needs of our team during Summer seasons or any other specific season related workload where necessary changes need made.
